The Network of Experts on Agrifood Trade (RECA) in Latin America and the Caribbean sponsored by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), and the Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture (IICA) seeks to provide a neutral and independent space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on agrifood trade affecting the countries of the region, strengthen the technical quality and relevance of research on agrifood trade, reinforce capacities to provide technical advice and policy recommendations to governments and the private sector, and improve communication and information sharing on trade policy issues with the community at large.
